Broncos-Jaguars: Week 6 Game Capsule

Robert Ayers

Two teams at the opposite ends of the spectrum meet in Denver this Sunday. The undefeated (5-0) Broncos host the (0-5) Jacksonville Jaguars in a 2:05 pm MT kickoff aired by CBS. Ian Eagle will handle the play by play, Dan Fouts will add his biased and unwanted commentary and Shannon Sharpe will be there to keep them in line.

Since 1990, when the current 12-team playoff format was adopted, 36 of the 40 teams (90 percent) that started 5-0 advanced to the postseason. That 90% figure will undoubtedly cause the rivers in Broncos Country to overflow Orange.

The Jaguars led the series 5-3, have won the past 3 and 5 of past 6 meetings between these two teams. Jacksonville’s new head coach Gus Bradley will be facing the Broncos for the very first time and Denver head man John Fox holds a 1-1 record against the spotted kitties.
