The Denver Broncos are 8-6 after last week’s disappointing 16-3 loss to the Patriots at home. As a result, the Broncos will need to win out in their last two opportunities in order to optimize their odds of getting into the postseason tournament. The only problem is, the last two games are against the very division opponents ahead of them in the pre-playoff seeding. This week, it’s the Chiefs in Kansas City, where they are 19-36 all-time at Arrowhead.
What’s more, it’s the second of two Christmas Day NFL games, slated for a 6:30 pm MST kickoff.
Last week, Heather Lee, of Rock Springs, Wyoming edged out 72 others to win the Bradley Roby autographed Bronco ballcap.
This week, all you need to do is predict the final score of the Broncos-Chiefs game on 12/25/16 and the total passing yards for Trevor Siemian, who went 20-34, for 368 yards and 3 Touchdowns in these teams’ Week 12 Overtime matchup that Kansas City snuck away with.
This week’s prize is a Broncos ballcap signed by rookie Safety Justin Simmons. Denver’s 3rd round draft pick this year has played in all 16 games, with one start. He has 24 Tackles and a Sack, along with one Pass Breakup. However, Simmons recorded two tackles as well as a blocked extra point, which was returned by teammate Will Parks for the game-winning score in a 25-23 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 10.
The Wise Guys currently have the Chiefs favored by 4 with the Over/Under set at 37.5 points
Through Week 15, the Chiefs Offense ranks 15th in points (22.8), 23rd in total yards (331.4), 22nd in Passing (230.9) and 23rd in Rushing (100.6). Defensively they are allowing an average of 19.6 points per game (8th). They are 19th in Passing Yards Against, averaging 250.4 yards allowed per game and 28th defending the Run (124.7).
Meanwhile, the Broncos are 21st in Points (21.4), 18th in Passing Yards (235.4) and 4th in Points Allowed (18.4). The No Fly Zone is ranked 1st against the pass, allowing an average of 183 yards per game.
The Chiefs have a +13 Turnover ratio compared to the Broncos +2 rating.
