The Denver Broncos are 7-4 after losing a tough Overtime loss to division rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. They will try to get back on the winning track this week when they travel to Jacksonville to face the 2-9 Jaguars.
There were 73 entries last week and the winner of the Broncos Super Bowl 50 replica Ring went to Heather Lee, of Rock Springs, WY.
This week, all you need to do is predict the final score of the Broncos-Jaguars game on 12/4/16 and the total rushing yards for Devontae Booker, who is averaging just under 58 yards per game since taking over as the starting Running Back due to C.J. Anderson’s torn meniscus. The Broncos must run in order to maximize their chance of repeating last season’s results. Last Sunday, Booker had 79 yards on 24 carries against the Chiefs. The Broncos beat the Jaguars in ther last meeting, a 35-19 victory at Mile High during Week 6 of the 2013 season. Knowshon Moreno rushed for 42 yards and 3 Touchdowns on 15 carries and caught 7 passes for an additional 62 yards.
The Broncos trail this series 4-5 all-time against the Jags and are 1-3 when playing in Jacksonville.
The Wise Guys currently have Denver favored by 5 with the Over/Under is set at 42 points.
Through Week 12, the Jacksonville Offense ranks 26th in points (19.5), 23rd in total yards (334.2), 21st in Passing (237.9) and 24th in Rushin Offense (96.3). Defensively they are allowing an average of 26.6 points per game (27th). They are 3rd in Passing Yards Against, averaging 204.3 yards allowed per game and 24th defending the Run (116.6).
Meanwhile, the Broncos are 14th in Points (24.2), 22nd in Passing Yards (237.5) and 9th in Points Allowed (19.9). The No Fly Zone is ranked 1st against the pass, allowing an average of 193.9 yards per game.
The Jaguars are -15 in the Turnover department compared to the Broncos +4 rating.
This week’s prize is a Super Bowl 50 Broncos ballcap signed by Linebacker Brandon Marshall.
